Fiber Optic Technician
Reports To: Manager, Director Fiber Optics Engineering Team
Starting Pay: $27.50/hr (Temp), $30/hr with full benefits after 90 days, annual increases
The principal responsibility of this position is the installation of Rock Island’s Fiber Optic plant. Assists in installing both outside plant and in-home fiber-optic service; Pumping, jetting, and hanging fiber optic cable; Splicing and patching customers onto the network; Troubleshooting connections and interacting with customers on-site. Ability to work independently and seamlessly integrate with the team; stellar customer service skills a must.
Bookkeeper – Friday Harbor Preferred
Full Time Hourly/benefitted: $25/hr. – $32/hr.
Reports to: SVP/CFO Finance Department
Job Summary
The Friday Harbor position assists in the accounting operations of Rock Island by managing customer interactions, billing, and processing of daily collections for deposit, and performs related work as required. The principal functions of an employee in this position are to perform the duties of an Accounts Receivable professional, and to assist the department with customer contact as well as the research, development, and implementation of various new programs and any other duties as required or as assigned by supervisory or contracted accounting personnel. The position could expand into senior finance position depending on the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications.
